Brendan Vandergraff Cannot "really" set a favorite track. This is the "end" so, what? Loved this band. Loved the music. Loved the art. A belated, "Farewell" from me. And, a great "Farewell," from them. #sadface Favorite track: but I am shafts of light..

c_c_chaos The cover may suggest a soundtrack to a Disney movie, but make no mistake: Maeth play a unique style of psychedelic and vaguely jazzy extreme metal. For some reason, they also put what was surely a lot of effort into crafting beautiful words for their nearly inaudible lyrics.

Favorite track: ˈsɪksˈtiːn əʊ-naɪn,.

1.
That day at dawn the flowers bloomed out of control. They found her on the north-most shore. Her fins were torn and the priest said he knew she came from God. In the chapel beneath the bones of St Thomas there was a cage where we left her. I watched from between two boards of the west wall as she gasped through her gills and mouth. Without the sea she suffocated in the sand. Last night I dreamt that she swam home. She said “everything is an orchid, but I am shafts of light.”
